BIO

Julio was born in Quito, Ecuador. At age six his family moved to NYC where he grew up in Brooklyn and graduated from New Utrecht High School in Bensonhurst. His photographic journey started by pure serendipity, in the year 2002 after recovering from a mountain climbing accident. Armando Cruz a friend photographer loaned him a Nikormat and 3 lenses to use while he traveled during his recovery and shot mainly travel,landscape and wildlife. 2 years ago he met Andre Rowe in Ft Lauderdale, Florida and sparked his interest in fashion photography, where he has concentrated and focused all of his attention to the present day.
